Minimum Web Browser Requirements

Please take a moment to review the minimum web browser software requirements outlined below.

To verify, click Help on the menu bar at the top of your browser then select 'About Internet Explorer'. In the window that appears, please ensure the Version and Cipher Strength match these requirements:

  • Internet Explorer Version 5.5 (or higher)
  • Cipher Strength: 128-bit
Additional Requirements
  1. Ensure your browser is set to disable script debugging.
    • Go to Internet Explorer > Tools menu > Internet Options > Advanced tab; ensure "Disable Script Debugging" is checked under browsing settings section.
  2. Ensure you have cleared temporary Internet files and cookies.
    • Go to Internet Explorer > Tools menu > Internet Options > General Tab; click "Delete Cookies" and "Delete Files".
  3. Ensure you have disabled all pop-up blockers which may prevent the web pages from launching.
    • Go to your pop-up blocker settings to disable the tool while you are using the application.
  4. Ensure your dial-up connection does not time-out during your session.
    • Slower dial-up connections may be unable to complete page processing before your Internet Service Provider times-out.
  5. Ensure your browser is set to enable Active and Java scripting.
    • Go to Internet Explorer > Tools menu > Internet Options > Security tab > Custom Level button > ensure "Active scripting" and "Scripting of Java applets" are enabled under the scripting setting section (bottom).
Refresh Web Pages (One time setting)
  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. From the menu bar Select Tools -> Internet Options.
  3. Navigate to the Temporary Internet Files region and click the Settings button.
  4. Select "Every visit to the page".
  5. Set "Amount of disk space to use" to 50 MB.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click OK.
Clear Cache (as needed)
  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. From your menu bar select Tools -> Internet Options.
  3. Navigate to the Temporary Internet Files region and click the Delete Files button.
  4. Select “Delete all offline content”.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Close your Internet browser.
  8. Open a new Internet browser and login to iRecruitment.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q1. Do I need to have an email address?
A1. Yes! An email address is required to register with iRecruitment and to apply for a job.
 
IMPORTANT! The maximum number of characters for an email address is 30 including the @ sign and period.

NOTE: You can conduct a job search without registering with iRecruitment, but you can't apply for a job unless you are registered.
 
Q2. How do I create a password?
A2. Passwords must be at least eight characters in length, at least one character must be numeric, and there can be no repeating characters such as "bottle" and no special characters such as ("-/#$*).

Your email address and password are required for every visit to iRecruitment.
