Why I joined:
We’re enormous, we’re all over the place, and the people really encourage you to get out there and make the most of your career. It really motivates you and inspires you to do great things.

Why I've stayed:
We get to build these great infrastructure projects, or energy plants, or rebuild areas, roads, you name it. We have an effect on the world—to make it a better place. That's what I love about our industry.

What I do:
After working in Infrastructure for a while, I took part in the Professional Rotational Experience Program (PREP). PREP is a two-year program that gave me hands-on experience across the company's varied markets and types of work.

My first assignment was in Denver, Colorado, working with the Industrial/Process unit in safety, the Mining unit in estimating and proposals, and the Power unit in business development.

My second assignment was in Aiken, South Carolina, working in various departments within Washington Safety Management Solutions.

My third and final rotation was in Puerto Rico, where I worked on the PREPA power plant in Project Controls. I am now helping our Infrastructure group develop new business opportunities.
