Project Controls Support Team

– B.S., Construction Science & Management, Tuskegee University

– Joined in 2004

Why I joined:
Any degree you have can match up to Washington Division's work.  They see a person's potential and help mold that person into the future leader of tomorrow.

Why I've stayed:
I think that I have the opportunity to stand out, to pretty much voice my opinions and make an impact. Anything is possible as long as you’re willing to work for it.

What I do:
My father worked in construction in Birmingham for 25 years but I didn't have my first experience with heavy industrial construction until I was hired on here at Washington Division.

I started out in the "On Project Training" program working out of the Princeton and Cleveland offices.

I also took part in the Professional Rotation Experience Program (PREP), which involved 18 months on three different job assignments to learn more about how the company does business. Through PREP I learned about quality assurance, project controls, safety and procurement.

Today, I am working in the Princeton office with the Project Controls Support team getting ready to go out on a field assignment for the Constellation power project.
