Why I joined:
Washington Division is so diverse that I think it offers a great deal of opportunity. Also, the employees I've met really seem to enjoy their careers here. For me, those were two very convincing reasons to join.
Why I've stayed:
Every day on my project is interesting. The whole experience of learning new things is very rewarding. I believe that Washington Division offers both the diversity and the fast-paced learning environment that I crave.
What I do:
I've worked as an engineer with other companies, so I had some experience when I came to Washington Division. Even so, I wanted to learn more. I joined the Professional Rotational Experience Program (PREP) in 2006, and spent the next 18 months gaining hands-on experience in safety, project controls, procurement, and field construction.
Today, I am a member of the transition/start-up team on our Kraft Integrated Facility Management Services project. As part of the team, I travel a lot to support our operations at the various plants.
