Construction
Our international construction capabilities are founded on the bedrock of nine decades of construction projects.
We provide two basic construction delivery systems:
- Construction as a general contractor
- Construction management
We provide our delivery systems on a stand-alone basis and as part of an EPC or EPCM contract. Our construction service can be performed on either a union, non-union or merit shop basis.
Construction as a general contractor
As a general contractor, we possess the size, resources, and financial strength to handle the largest, most complex construction projects in the world. Our abilities include supervision of craft labor, coordination of subcontract labor, or a combination of both.
Construction management
As a construction manager we subcontract work to pre-qualified contractors and supervise and coordinate all construction activity. Through our extensive experience managing large, complex projects, we have gained the respect of contractors around the world and are able to build effective teams of subcontractors to achieve project goals.
Among our strengths is the ability to manage projects at multiple sites. On General Motors' GMT-800 Assembly Plant Conversion Program, our construction professionals managed the efforts of over 100 contractors at five plants in the United States and Canada.
