Industrial Maintenance
We pioneered the concept of outsourced, single-source industrial process maintenance in 1956. Over 50 years later, we are still providing state-of-the-art plant maintenance and shutdown/turnaround services.
Today, we have in place over 10,000 craft workers on continuous assignment at over 50 U.S. industrial sites. Some of our shutdowns have employed over 1,500 craft and 300 subcontractors.
From full and supplemental contract maintenance to intermittent shutdown/turnaround/outage support and consulting, we continue to implement successful programs to reduce maintenance costs while improving performance and reliability in the petroleum, chemicals, manufacturing, and energy industries.
Our range of services includes:
- Total Plant Maintenance – A stand alone maintenance staff that directly performs all maintenance at a client’s facility.
- Supplemental Maintenance – Supplemental support for a client’s core maintenance staff to provide work force flexibility.
- Shutdowns/Turnarounds – Short duration, large work force staffing for work performed during plant shutdowns.
- Small Capital Project Support – Construction support for capital projects such as plant modifications.
- Production Support – A customized staff for a wide range of support functions including central plant utilities operation, waste handling and treatment, warehousing, and shipping/receiving.
- Technical Support – Technical support in the areas of Reliability Centered Maintenance.
Safety is a hallmark of our industrial maintenance. For example, at DuPont’s chemical complex in Louisville, we have been the recipient of the Kentucky Governor’s Safety & Health Award five years in a row (2002 thru 2006), and at BP’s refinery in Toledo, Ohio, we have achieved 14 years and over six million man-hours without a lost time injury.
