Safe Performance Highlights
- Our joint venture coal mining operations at the MIBRAG complex in eastern Germany has been repeatedly recognized by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents as well as the BBG Mining Trade Association of Germany for our industry-leading safe operations.
- Our bauxite mining project in Jamaica received the Minister's Cup for best safety practice among large quarrying operations from the Jamaican National Mineral Industry in 2006.
- Our mining operations in the United States have received 12 awards from the National Safety Council and U.S. Department of Labor.
