Washington Division provides single-point management responsibility for grassroots, retrofit, and expansion projects in the power generation industry. Washington Division is a recognized leader in the engineering, procurement, construction, and startup of fossil-fired power plants—both new generation projects (coal and natural gas) and modifications to existing generating units—with particular expertise in the retrofit of existing fossil-fired units with clean air emissions reduction technology.
In the commercial nuclear market, Washington Division provides engineering, procurement, construction, startup, and maintenance services including construction support services for large component replacements as part of the Steam Generating Team LLC in partnership with the AREVA Group [AREVA-NP, Inc.].
Washington Division has been providing nuclear expertise since the industry’s infancy and continues to build on this heritage. Nuclear power is expected to return to prominence—the nuclear renaissance—to meet growing energy needs. In support of these needs, Washington Division is providing nuclear engineering, licensing, and related services in support of Generation III+ reactor designs.
