Chemical Weapons Disposal Facilities
Under contract to destroy 78 percent of the weapons in the U.S. chemical stockpile, we are currently operating or helping design and construct five chemical agent disposal facilities across the United States. In addition, we completed construction of the facility in Tooele, Utah. more
Johnston Atoll Chemical Agent Disposal System (JACADS) This plant, located in the Pacific Ocean, is the only chemical demilitarization plant to process its entire inventory of chemical weapons. This program processed 2,031 tons of chemical agent in projectiles, mortars, containers, cartridges, rockets, mines and bombs. JACADS is the only such plant to be operated and closed. more

Missile Demilitarization
In addition to destroying chemical weapons in the United States, we have worked under a series of contracts since 1994 with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency to destroy similar weaponry in Eastern Europe. In Russia, we helped immobilize nearly 250 intercontinental ballistic missiles, launch facilities, and other related equipment. We have also provided chemical demilitarization consulting services in China.

Maritime/Border Protection
In recent years we have been the prime contractor
for the installation of radar and other monitoring systems in Caspian Sea to track the movement of people and weapons material across borders and across the seaways including the training of home country personnel.
Seversk Plutonium Production Elimination
We are providing oversight and technical integration for the Seversk Plutonium Production Elimination Project. The project is part of a U.S. Department of Energy program to permanently shut down the last three weapons-grade plutonium production reactors in Russia. more
