Washington Division is a key partner in the Battelle Energy Alliance selected to manage and operate the Idaho National Laboratory under a contract that runs through 2014. The contract is valued at approximately $4.8 billion.
Highlights & Accomplishments:
With it new mission to become the preeminent national laboratory for tomorrow’s energy systems including both nuclear and space power, the multi-program laboratory employs about 3,400 people in a variety of scientific and operational tasks.
Idaho National Laboratory researchers recently received four R&D 100 Awards, considered the "Oscars" of research and development.
