Project Overview
Washington Division serves Caterpillar as a bundled facilities maintenance provider with over 2,900 employees, including subcontractors, at sites on four continents.
Services include program management, building maintenance, utilities management, janitorial, food services, mail and shipping, waste and hazardous material removal, security, grounds, laundry, and water and wastewater treatment.
In 2004, we began working under a Master Global Facilities Services Agreement, teamed with M+W Zander in Europe, encompassing FM services at locations worldwide. We conducted due diligence investigations at each location to determine the value proposition and then negotiated a facility agreement with each respective location.
Today we have successfully transitioned 20 sites to the Washington Division/M+W Zander Team, with the potential of more than 30 sites eventually being served under this contract.
Highlights & Accomplishments
From a “Center of Excellence” located in Peoria, IL, we add value and drive savings through the consistent delivery of the service model, consolidation of subcontractors, and the leverage of a shared services concept.
The enterprise utilizes state-of-the-art technology to deliver the most efficient organization and services to eventually over 50 million square feet of industrial space.
