For the past three years, Washington Division, our projects, and subsidiaries have ranked among "America's Safest Companies" by Occupational Hazards magazine, which each year honors a different set of companies*:

For five consecutive years, two of our projects in the United Kingdom have earned Gold Awards from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents. In Germany, the State of Saxony-Anhalt recognized us with the 2004 Health and Safety Award for the safest performance in the industry.

We have also received:

  • Industry Leader Award for Safety from the National Safety Council for our work on the ConocoPhillips Refinery
  • EEI (Edison Electric Institute) Safety Achievement Award for our AmerenUE's Callaway Nuclear Plant project.
  • Awards of Merit and Awards of Commendation from the National Safety Council.
  • Letters of Commendation from the Army Corp of Engineers.
  • Certificates of Appreciation from the Environmental Protection Agency.
  • A variety of state awards and recognitions.

Our employees serve on advisory boards and committees of several safety organizations:
