International Awards & Programs

Our uncompromising resolve to ensure the health and safety of our employees has been recognized on projects around the world.

Among our recent highlights*:

  • Our joint venture coal mining operations at the MIBRAG complex in eastern Germany has been repeatedly recognized by RoSPA including a 2007 "Silver Award" in recognition of a "high level of performance."

  • MIBRAG has also received a "Seal of Quality—System-Based Safety" by the BBG Mining Trade Association of Germany following a safety audit in 2005, as well as a "Health and Safety Award" for safest performance in the industry from the State of Saxony-Anhalt in 2004.
  • Our work in Iraq has included hundreds of thousands of hours of safety training for local and sub-contractor workers.
