Safety Trained Supervisor Certification Program
Washington Division is a leader in education and certification of our employees in the work place.
Over 70 percent of those certified as a Safety Trained Supervisor in construction are Washington Division employees.
The program is sponsored by CCCHEST, a joint venture of the Board of Certified Safety Professionals and the American Board of Industrial Hygienists.
STS-C certification is recognized by OSHA as a key part of a company’s overall safety program.
The focus of this program is to increase over-all job-site safety and responsibility at the front line supervisor level and encourages interaction among crews to ensure one group does not create hazards for another.
